General Terms and Conditions for the Purchase of Event Tickets

These general terms and conditions ("Terms") apply to the purchase of tickets ("Tickets") for events ("Event" or "Events") organized by Amicus Civitas ("Organizer"). By purchasing Tickets through our website or any affiliated platform, you ("Purchaser") agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read these Terms carefully before purchasing Tickets.

Ticket Purchase

1.1 Tickets are sold subject to availability and these Terms. Purchasers must be of legal age to purchase Tickets in their jurisdiction.

1.2 All Ticket sales are final and non-refundable, except as otherwise provided herein or as required by applicable law.

1.3 Tickets are non-transferable, except with the express written permission of the Organizer. Any unauthorized transfer or resale of Tickets may result in the cancellation of the Tickets without a refund.

1.4 By purchasing Tickets, Purchaser confirms that they are 18 years of age or older.

Event Admission

2.1 Admission to Amicus Civitas Events is subject to presentation of a valid Ticket. Lost, stolen, damaged, or destroyed Tickets may not be replaced.

2.2 The Organizer reserves the right to refuse admission to or eject any person whose conduct is disorderly, disruptive, or poses a risk to the safety or enjoyment of others.

2.3 Entry to the Event may be subject to security checks, including bag searches. By attending the Event, Purchasers consent to such checks.

2.4 The use or possession of prohibited substances, including hard drugs, is strictly prohibited in the venue.

2.5 Sharp objects, including but not limited to knives, scissors, or weapons of any kind, are not allowed in the venue.

Event Changes or Cancellations

3.1 The Organizer reserves the right to make changes to the Event schedule, venue, lineup, or any other aspect of the Event without prior notice.

3.2 In the event of cancellation, postponement, or rescheduling of the Event, the Organizer will make reasonable efforts to notify Purchasers and provide alternative options, which may include refunds or ticket transfers to a rescheduled date.

3.3 The Organizer shall not be liable for any incidental, consequential, or indirect loss arising from changes to or cancellation of the Event.

Limitation of Liability

4.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Organizer shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from or in connection with the purchase or use of Tickets or attendance at the Event.

4.2 In no event shall the total liability of the Organizer exceed the total amount paid by the Purchaser for the Tickets.

Indemnification 

5.1 Purchaser agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Organizer, its affiliates, employees, agents, and representatives from and against any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from or in connection with Purchaser's breach of these Terms or attendance at the Event.

Governing Law

6.1 These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

Miscellaneous

7.1 These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the parties with respect to the subject matter hereof and supersede all prior and contemporaneous agreements and understandings.

7.2 The Organizer reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time by posting the amended terms on its website or other online platforms. Purchasers are responsible for reviewing these Terms periodically for changes.

Filming and Photography Consent

8.1 By attending the Event, Purchaser consents to be filmed, photographed, or recorded by the Organizer or its authorized representatives. Purchaser acknowledges that these recordings may be used by the Organizer for promotional, marketing, or other lawful purposes.

8.2 Purchaser grants the Organizer and its affiliates the perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable right to use, reproduce, distribute, display, and sublicense any recordings or images in which Purchaser appears, in whole or in part, without any further approval or compensation.

8.3 Purchaser agrees that they will not use any recordings or images taken at the Event for commercial purposes without the prior written consent of the Organizer.

8.4 If Purchaser does not wish to be filmed, photographed, or recorded during the Event, they must inform the Organizer in writing before the Event date.

By purchasing Tickets to the Event, Purchasers acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and any other terms and conditions specified by the Organizer.
